I really liked this blogger's commentary on the Google announcement. It will be truly amazing to have the collections of the libraries at Oxford, the University of Michigan, Harvard, Stanford and the New York Public Library available online. I think this one of the most exciting additions to the internet since MIT OpenCourseWare.

The global dream repository was originally intended to be an integral part of this site... for now it exists as a separate blog. When there is sufficient content, I will feed the content into the right hand column of this site. Yay PHP!

When I first launched SCU in 1996 I thought of it as a portal (but they didn't call it that back then) from which people could explore strange new paths in cyberspace... I have posted the original SCU topics again (in the right column - see TOC) as jumping off points for surfing or for discussion.

I had originally envisioned a Global Dream Repository as an inevitable use of the internet as the physical manifestation of the collective unconscious... I think I should set that up as a separate blog/site and link to it from here... Suggestions?

It took a while, but here we are, in our new PHP wrapper courtesy of blogger.com. I went back through the SCU archives and posted everything into the new blog format... It will be great to have all of this online again.
